How to Remove Acrylic Nails with Household Items

Method 1: Using Vinegar and Rubbing Alcohol

Materials:

  • White vinegar
  • Rubbing alcohol (70% or higher)
  • Small bowl
  • Cotton balls or nail brush

Instructions:

1. Soak your nails in a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and rubbing alcohol for 15-20 minutes. 2. Use a cotton ball or nail brush to gently buff away the softened acrylic. 3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 until the acrylic is completely removed. 4. Rinse your hands thoroughly with warm water and soap.

Additional Notes:

- This method may take several applications to remove all of the acrylic. - If you have sensitive skin, you may experience some irritation. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
