Genoa striker Alberto Gilardino has heaped praise on upcoming opponents Roma, labeling the capital club as an “incredible team” ahead of their Serie A clash on Sunday.

The 36-year-old forward, who has scored three goals in 11 league appearances for Genoa this season, is wary of the threat posed by Eusebio Di Francesco’s side, who sit third in the Serie A standings.

Gilardino is hoping that Genoa can end Roma’s unbeaten run and pick up a much-needed victory.

“We know that it will be a tough game, but we are confident that we can get a good result,” Gilardino said.
